Bio

Cameron van der Burgh is a South African Swimmer. He was a participant at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. He has represented South Africa at the 2008 Summer Olympics and has won numerous World Championship medals since his debut in 2007 when he took a bronze medal. He was part of Team South Africa at the 2012 Olympics in London, where he broke the world record and won a Gold Medal for the Men's 100m Breaststroke. He has subsequently competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics where he completed the men’s 100m breaststroke in 58.69s taking home a silver medal.
